What is going on here is - Someone is making (or has had) multiple accounts. - This person wants the rest of these people to think it's me. Bob Lowblaw then goes around making sure they think along those lines. (So I suspect it's him)
Well it's not me, nor is it my wife.

My question to you is // Why doesn't Yahoo set up their system to only allow one account per IP-address?
Can Yahoo block an entire IP-address?

If they can do these things will you please recommend that it be done to this person's (The person pretending to be Erica) IP. - It would solve a mountain of issues.

sorry to say no way to truly block out a user by ip address, just impratical to begin with. i log on from 3 different computers on a reg baises. second if i was up to no good could easly get program from my cousin that costently sends out thousands of ip addresses when i go onto a site making it near impossible to track back to mine. Probablity has it that of the thousands sent out that are false some will be accuall ip's of other people. yahoo suspands all activity for them as well as me they end up pissing off several people while i am still able to slip in with a new random set of ip's.

If you go to Answer Forums, you can read about such suggestions and suggest it yourself. Click on Forum in the upper right of the screen. But Yahoo! decided long ago that they weren't going to do any of that. But situations change, and so does their thinking on policy. Anyway, their reasoning at the time seemed to be, there could be a family sharing one computer with several people with an Answers account. there could be a LAN at work with a high-speed connection that could all come out as the same IP, verses there could be someone on dial up that comes out as different IP's, and there could be a bunch of people going to the library and using the same computer for access....

Side notes. No, Bob isn't the type to make multiple accounts like that.

But yes, someone can make and use the same user name or close to the same as anyone. Best to click on their profile and note things like Member since date and list of questions asked/answered. (I hate it that they give people the option of making that private now.)

Well, speaking from experience, you and your wife don't need other ids to be mean. You've proved that a number of times. and last night. You say you were just kidding come back here!"..umm hmm right.
fyi I only a have 2 ids==jenni m and JM
Trolll hunter--probably has no pull. We all have the power to report, or to ignore.
Yes, yahoo can block an entire ISP, but w/o it is could simply use a diff computer.
I did suspect you and the wife at first b/c the crap ws directed at me, but now I just think it's a bored stupid kid w/nothing to do.
w/o is being the fake Erica has sunk to new lows.

Civility her for one moment- do you really think this user has any pull? That said, how can people use a name that has already been taken? That is silly.

Moment of civility over. Come on John, you suspect me? Is it any coincidence that all the immaturity started up when your hypocrisy was met with resistance and you were put in your place? Then the very next day, all of these new account users pop up with silliness.
Anyone with 2 clues to rub together knows it is you and your less than intelligent other. Grow up.

What is it? Do you drink and have black-outs? Get some help with that.

John, I just wanted to say that I don't believe it is you (or Rebecca) making multiple accounts. I'd like to think neither of you would do that because I've never had any beef with you, so you wouldn't have reason to do that to me. (Not that the fake Erica bothers me.) But the same goes for Bob---I don't think he'd do this either.

I think everyone would be fine with the Disques and vice versa if everyone just stuck to asking and answering hockey-related questions. Simple, mature solution.

1. Bob you already know people can use the same SN name. There are 3 Bob Lowblaws

2. You are suspected because for days and days you've been trying to get people to believe these people are John.
So, naturally after days of us seeing this crap go on, we're going to believe it's you.

3. It's obvious that you care about these stupid little stars and best answers garbage. Otherwise you would not have posted a whole question about John giving me 6 best answers out of 169 questions he's asked.
You freaked about and tried to tell everyone we're "cheaters." Which is lame of you even if it was the truth, and it's even more pathetic because you had nothing to back it up with.
But you know most people are too lazy to look into it themselves and they'll take your word for it. Which they did.

4. You are really starting to freak me out.

Jenni: He was being sarcastic last night.

EDIT: I am glad to see some people on here aren't falling for this crap. Whether I like you or not.

i've stayed quiet long enough.

this isn't my fight. but one side is making it easy to identify their motives.

um, i thought you guys made a claim a few days ago that you'd NEVER come back on the forum and that you didn't care what anyone thought.

...

but here you are.

i don't care either way. but sounds like you're contradicting yourselves. and sounds like you DO care what people think on this forum. and you'll be darned if anyone thinks negatively about you. the irony is, that the harder you try to clean up your reputation, the more you call it into question.

which i find hilarious. i just can't understand that.

I think we have someone out there that's laughing their backside off because they got all you folks at each others throats and so far we haven't come close to identifying them.
This looks like a job for Columbo.
