i know they contain no hormones so why do we need to take it. if i don't take it will i get pregnant?

They are so that you are still taking your pill every day, even during the break from hormones that gives you your period. That is why they refer to them as reminder pills, they remind you to keep in the habit of taking your pill. It is perfectly safe for you to not take them at all, and just start your next pack of pills after the week is up. I usually punch the day's pill out at the appropriate time and throw it away. Some brands of birth control pill include iron in the reminder pills, to make up for your lost iron from your withdrawl bleeding.

You should take them every day as prescribed.
The reminder pills have no hormones, and they are used when you should be having your period.
If you do not take them that is fine since they are sugar pills, but you could forget to start taking the active pills, so just keep taking all of them as prescribed.
NO pill is 100% effective, so taking them as prescribed you still have a chance of getting pregnant.

You need to keep up the habit of taking a pill every day, that is what they are for. After a while, I didnt have any problems remembering so I stopped taking the reminder pills. Its up to you.

They are to help you keep a rhythm of taking the pill. Normally, the contain iron. They contain no hormone and you don't have to take them.

You will not get pregnant from them. They are just to keep you in the habit of taking the pills on time. No harm taking them, no harm not taking them.

They are pills without horomones that you take to keep yourself on a routine schedule of taking them. You don't HAVE to take them, but it's best to do so that you don't get out of the habit every month of doing so at a specific time.

no they are just placebos sugar pills, candies or whatever you want to call them. It is noproblem if you don´t take them, they come in the pack so you go on with the pill without interruption and you don´t forget to take it daily and start the new pack due to seven days later. If you don´t want to take them it is fine, they are candies, but remember to take the other pack!, and no you won´t get prego by not taking them.

To remind you to take them every day. That is all that they are used for...some women, when they don't take it daily, will forget to take their active pills. You don't have to take them if you don't want to. I never did.
