Because we called you but the line was busy?

He is the President because the money people who wanted him in office bought enough Electoral votes that over rode the popular vote of the people.

The Electoral Votes can be manipulated as has been proven. We need to do away with this antiquated system or have it revised so that those casting an Electoral Vote follow the vote of the people. Other wise why go to the polls at all if a hand full of paid off politicians can be bought off to over ride the peoples choice

Because we live in an oligarchy -- the president was the best choice as their puppet because they knew he would be the easiest to control. The fact that he appears dumb is perfect, as every bad decision he makes appears to be caused by fecklessness or ignorance instead of the carefully plotted-out course of pillage and plunder that it is. For example, Iraq is a humanitarian disaster, a sprawling human tragedy of nightmarish suffering and unrelenting horror, yet in the eyes of America's corporate sector, it is an enormous success. There are documented profits in the tens of billions for Bechtel alone. One of the more amazing facts is that nearly all of their work was delivered to them via no-bid contracts. That means, whatever they want to charge the American public, they can. All of this reckless abuse of our system is dooming capitalism -- enjoy it while you can, 'cause coming soon is a dictatorial totalitarianism the likes of which you've never dreamed!

He was selected by the scotus not elected! Besides the public doesn't actually vote for the president. The officials at the electoral college cast their vote for president. And they don't even have to vote along party lines if they choose not to do so! When you vote you are simply granting your consent to an electoral official to cast his vote in your place. They have placed so many barriers in between that the election is truly a farce from the get go!

Because of corporate greed. Our government is no longer ours. It belongs to the rich. Both sides are equally at fault and all will have to pay the price when the economy goes broke. It is all to make it easier for the One World Order that Bush senior was always talking about. Lil' Bush took over for his Dad and screwed the US. I usually like to enjoy getting screwed and I hated it this time.

Ask the people who voted for him.
He talks to God, maybe God made sure he got the job. He has failed at every other job he has had. Unfortuntely he is failing at this one too. So, even with God on his side he screws up.
