I've got the 4th pick of a draft of 12 teams on Monday. Assuming LT, Jackson and Johnson are drafted 1-2-3, I was considering taking Addai at number 4. Any thoughts?

Also, I plan to take my first WR with my third pick (28th overall). Who's the best WR out there around this stage of the draft?

At 4, I'd go with Alexander, but Gore or Addai are in most people's top 6, so if you like Addai then take him there.

At 28th, I would get Wayne, Fitzgerald, Javon Walker, Roy Williams, Boldin, in that order.

I would take gore over addai. Gore has a more central role in the offense and has started a full year before. Addai has only shared carries in the NFL, and Gore is entering his 3rd year, a huge year for players. Addai will have success, but SF is a run-first team while the Colts will always be a pass-first team. Most WR's will be available at 28, but expect teams to take Smith and Ocho Cinco a bit earlier. A guy like Houshmanzadeh should be available there, along with Wayne and possibly Holt. Harrison should be gone by then.

I think Addai is a good pick at number 4. As far as you WR situation, you can look at some mock drafts to give you an idea which WR's will be available at that stage in the draft. I use www.antsports.com for my mock drafts. Hope this will help. Good luck.

i think 4th pick gives you about four good options, my order would be 1. Frank Gore, he is healthy and in will hopefully improve on his breakout season. 2. Peyton Manning is head and shoulder the best QB, even if rb's get more points it is nice to have the top scorer @ any position.3. Addai, can he hold up and catch dump off's consitantly? 4. Shaun alexander , good runner but is he back healthy.
wr @ 28, reggie wayne over colston, javon walker should be awesome, who'syourmama if that's all that's left.

Nobody sees Shaun Alexander as a round 1 pick, but I do he is one the obvious steals in my mind. The Seahawks have a advanced O-Line, along with Matt Hasselbeck, Nate Burleson, and Deion Branch. So assuming those 3 get taken 1 2 3 then I would go with Alexander.

Also, I dont see him as the best but in your later rounds take a look at Jacksonville WR Matt Jones. Along with Alexander, he is one of the 2008 draft steals for sure and probably the best kept secret in the whole NFL.

If your leagues scoring system favors pass catching RB's, you have to look at both Addai & Bush. If not, McGahee is a great option (although that spot may be a bit early). Steve Smith is far and away the league's premiere wideout. It would be nothing short of amazing if he lasts to #28. Tory Holt & Marvin Harrison / Reggie Wayne are also excellent options.

I would go with Gore over Addai, but Addai is still really solid.

You maybe able to get Reggie Wayne, Roy Williams, Colston.....Most people take RB, RB, QB, so you should be able to maybe even get someone higher.

No, go with Gore. With the addition of D.Jackson and a healthy V.Davis they have a better passing game which will open up the running game. W.Parker wouldn't be a bad pick at 4 either.

Peyton Manning.
High scorer low chance of getting injured.
