what software should i use for image processing to use in robots?

Currently i am using matlab for simulation. The problem is that matlab is very slow. Is there any other software which work faster.

Matlab is not half bad. More and more roboupgrades are coming out soon. So I would keep checking for the latest version downloads.

you should check out 'roborealm'. it is a free download robot vision processing system. it's getting a lot of good buzz among my customers.
