Who takes care of the swimming pool, tennis courts, etc. in apartment buildings?

Do they hire someone to do those tasks?

Typically, the apartment complex has a maintenance person or two on staff that handle all that, plus things in the apartment units like AC, appliance issues, etc.

It woudl depend on the management company. Some have on site maintenance to do these things, others would hire it out. Contact your building manager and ask.
