can imported psps work in the U.S?

I want a psp & I can only get the color I want if it's imported. Will american games work on it? Will it be black & white or will it not work at all? How will I charge the psp? Will my american memory card work in it? What are the disadvantages of having an imported psp?

American games will work on an imported PSP, just not the UMD movies. A japanese PSP uses the same charger as the US, so you charge it the same way. And yes, your memory stick will work. Only disadvantages is that you won't be able to play US UMD movies, and the selection button (to select an item from the PSP menu will be circle instead of x) but its not a big deal. The reason why I know all this is because I have a white Japanese PSP.

I don't know what the exact color you want, but you can wait for the new slimmer PSPs to come out in the US. They have new colors.
