I personally heat a bottle with water and put it on my stomach it helps me lots, I also get in my bed and don´t come out till I´m fine. You can also stop eating some things and start eating some to balance your level of prostaglandines. that are the guilty ones of cramps.

Some of the most common symptoms are anxiety, mood swings and nervous tension. This is caused by an imbalance of Oestrogen and Progesterone. The first thing to look at with this type of PMS is how much dairy products and refined sugars are in your diet, make sure they are not in excess as they can effect the absorption of Magnesium. Magnesium, Vitamin B6 and Zinc are the vital nutrients here; they are essential in the brain to produce the chemicals, which control these symptoms. These nutrients also assist in the clearance of the excess oestrogen. A diet high in vegetable proteins and fibre also assist this process

Many of the symptoms of PMS are related to dietary imbalances and nutritional deficiencies. The following are basic dietary guidelines that can be useful regardless of what symptoms you suffer.

* Avoid refined and processed foods, i.e. sugars, soft drinks, cakes and sweets especially prior to onset of period

* Avoid alcohol, tea, coffee, chocolate and tobacco.

* Reduce salt intake

* Increase consumption of fish (cod, tuna, and salmon) and oil seeds. Evening Primrose oil is of great benefit to most types of PMS and for relief of period pain. It also offers the added bonus of being good for a variety of different complaints, such as skin problems, arthritis and all kinds of inflammatory problems.

* Restrict intake of dairy products to two servings per day.

* Limit the intake of animal fat.

* Increase the consumption of green leafy vegetables.

Good luck! ;D

Natural Remedies for Cramps Menstrual cramps have been around for thousands of years, and so have many non-medical treatments. I recommend that nonmedical remedies be used in addition to the pain medications described above. Rest and stress reduction Like many other conditions, cramps may be made worse by fatigue from too many late nights and by anxiety. So, getting enough rest before a period is due can actually help prevent bad cramps. Anxiety and stress are occasionally part of everyone's lives, so learning how to manage these is important for every teenager. Meditation, yoga, tai chi, and exercise can all be helpful.

Heat, in the form of a warm bath or a heating pad applied to the lower abdomen, can be very helpful (and comforting).

Exercise is supposed to relieve some of the cramps although when I have cramps that bad, all I wanna do is lay on the couch. Some months I get cramps so bad I can't hardly walk so my husband usually lays me on the couch or bed with a blankie and a pillow and then I have a little heat pad and I lay that on my tummy. I also take some tylenol.

A heating pad is a girl's best friend. Also, if you can't be restrained to an outlet for the heating pad (like during school/work) the ThermaCare menstrual relief heat wraps are awesome. They stay hot for up to 8 hours, and all you do is put them up against your abdomen under your clothes. They stick right to the inside of your underwear. I get terrible cramps, and I have lived by these things for a couple of years now.

If you had bigger breasts then other people at school would probably make fun of you for that, plenty of girls who think they're too big for their age complain about that being an issue at school. You can't really win at this age; if they want to, they'll find some reason to be mean to you. In one of my college social groups, the one girl who just happened to be pretty much flat as a board (at age 20) was the most popular and self-confident one. She showed up at the first party of the year wearing hot clothes and with 2 guys in tow who brought her drinks or anything else she wanted and just trailed after her wherever she went, while she pretty much ignored them like that was perfectly normal. She could always wear the coolest outfits and revealing clothes because she never needed a bra. You don't need big breasts to be happy. It's all about your attitude and how you act. If you're confident and happy with your body, people will pick up on that.

well i often have the same problem as this and generally i find that bananas definetely do help. people always reccomend exercise but like you it just made me feel horrible. i would reccomend a hot water bottle on your stomach. it eases the pain a lot for me. chicken soup is another thing. and chocolate, im not sure if either of the last two actually do anything but they always seem to help me feel better and stop the pain! hope i helped coz i know how horrible the cramps are. good luck! x

Light exercise around the stomach. Hot wattle bottle definitely works for me and I've had god-awful cramps.
