Nifong was disbarred in June for more than two dozen violations of the state's rules of professional conduct during his prosecution of the lacrosse case.

During a hearing last month, he apologized and acknowledged there was "no credible evidence" that the three formerly charged players committed any of the crimes he accused them of. He said then: "It is my hope that all of us can learn from the mistakes in this case, that all of us can begin to move forward."

What a bastard.

No, that was his personal character defect, and is not necessarily reflective of other Dems.

Just as Senator Craig's actions are not a reflection upon Republicans.

Because, if you insist that Nifong represents Dems, then you logically have to support the equally absurd belief that Craig and Foley represent all Republicans.

Phil, you need to get a wider variety of news sources than Rush and Fox. Go on the internet, do research and then come up with your own opinion about specific individuals and media outlets. Just because a small percentage of reporters vote (most don't) and a certain percentage of that small percentage vote Democrat does not mean that their reports are slanted. They have editors who check for fairness and, even more importantly, the news outlets have very conservative ownership.

If you're watching TV or listening to the radio or reading something, and you hear something you don't like or don't agree with, that does not mean the news outlet is slanted. Sometimes the facts are liberal.

I'm glad he was disbarred. If he knew and still went forward, there should be some law he's breaking that can send him to jail.

Yeah, he should be cruising the gay saunas, text messaging congressional pages and looking for oral sex in airport bathroom stalls like Republicans do...the gaul of him.
