First, trees never make noises that are able to be heard by the human ear, so from that perspective the answer in no. The tree may scream when it falls but you can't hear it.
Next, when a tree falls and hits the ground it produces vibrations. Your ears pick up this vibration and translate it (via your brain) into sound. So the falling tree does still create a vibration. However, if noise or sound is dependent only upon your senses then no the falling tree does not create a noise or sound only a vibration.
Third, it's not a stupid question philosophers have asked such things for centuries so it must have some value.
Lastly, to really confuse you quantum physics suggest that not only does the tree not make a sound via falling but that the tree doesn't even exist if you (or at least someone) are not observing the tree. While this defies our every day experience some experiments have offered evidence for this idea.

I think by noises, you meant any noise and not their screaming ! I think every living or non-living thing make or be the cause of producing some or the other noise. Sometimes, audible and sometimes inaudible to your ears depending on the sound waves. We human beings are still not able to detect many noises that many animals can do. You gave an an example of tree that seemed to me an unreasonable one. It is like asking if Niagra makes a noise when we are not physically present there. Noises are spontaneous. Only we human beings and perhaps some animals know when to make noise and when to remain silent !!

no. you would NOT be there, therefor you would be SOMWHERE ELSE that is NOT here. so, if you make noise and are not there, no noise will be heard.
yes. if a tree fell down in a forest, the noise that it made during the fall, wouldn occur regardless if no one was around. it's kinda like saying...you fall down on glass, break on it, and hurt yourself, you're deaf, but no one is around....there WILL be noise made.

I confirm Dr. Weaver's response to you. Things create (and essentially are) vibrational patterns. If the vibrational pattern occurs at a certain frequency and is apprehended by a certain organism that senses that frequency as "sound," he/she/it will hear the vibration and, if that organism was a human being, he or she might interpret what they heard as noise. If no being was around at all to sense the vibration in any way, the vibration would still happen.
