Hi,
Would there be any problems with buying an LCD PC monitor from the US and bringing it to the UK to use.

Thanks

I think the only thing you would have to do is get a different power cord, because our "plugins" are different than yours I believe. I hope this helps!

Did it ever work? If so, what were the symptoms just before it 'quit' if any? Are you sure it is plugged in and turned on? Is the cable connected to the back of the tower? Is the LED on the monitor lit? if so: Is the LED on the front of the monitor yellow or green? If you have one, did you try another monitor? more info. for an answer pls.

You should just need a new power cable. These are standard and should not be a problem.

The only problem you could run into is if it has a low (120 V) voltage input only. Most have wide ranging power supplies (100 V to 240 V) but if you can see the specs or put your hands on it then it is easy to check.

As long as the power adapter is okay with 240 volts.
BUT why bother to use up your duty free allowance when there are places like http://www.ebuyer.com and
if you look at the link on my site http://computershell.es.tl/
and click on the Pixmania link you'll do well.
