Because i have covered the bin and wet it then when i came to stir in this morning i saw white hairy looking fungus on it anytips to fix it?

Not to worry, it's just nature doing it's job. What you saw was just some normal mold that likes to grow in dark moist places. The whole purpose of the composting process is to enable organisms like mold and other bugs to break down what we put into the compost bin.

Don't worry about the fungus, its perfectly normal. It is one of the organisms that break down the scraps into compost/dirt. Just make sure that your bin is properly aired and isn't soaking wet; being too wet will slow the process.

Eventually it will all rot away so that will not be a problem. Rotting away is what composting is about so just give it time and it will be perfect.
