This may be a dumb question but; I'm getting a new computer with NVIDIA GeForce 6150 LE Integrated Graphics GPU on it, and I want to know if I decide to get a graphics card, can I? Or will it be a problem since there is on installed IN in the computer?

It depends upon your specific motherboard, either check the specs, or just open up the case and look (easiest)

If you've got a dedicated graphics slot (PCI-Express or AGP) then you can add a video card. The integrated graphics port usually disables itself when there's a real video card installed, so that's not a problem.

Most vendors like HP, Dell, etc have the video card integrated in the motherboard. If you place a new one (AGP or PCI) you only need to connect the monitor to the one that you will be using. It should not cause any problems.

of course it is possible. no need to configure jumper, agp or pci port. just plug and use it. note: when using and integrated graphic, your RAM memory is shared thus making your pc slower. also the graphic capabilities is much low of performance. for. ex if u have a 512 MB RAM then have a 128MB shared memory for graphics then you be left with 384MB RAM of physical memory

you can install an aftermarket video card
some motherboards require you to shut off the onboard gfx card
Others will just shutoff automatically
