While we at Hormell have been keeping the news secret, as of this morning we are proud to announce that we have acquired the total assets of Hostess.

We have every confidence that a joint marketing and sales direction will benefit both companies.

As I'm sure you are well aware, Spam has had enormous success the the Hawaiian and lower income white markets.

As has Hostess.

However, with the "baby boom " generation maturing, we have seized upon a new market audience!

Numerous independent test have shown that life longevity is greatly increased by the prudent consumption of the many variates of Hostess products and the flagship product of Hormell...Spam.

A fine dinner of Spam, followd by a tasty repast of a Ho Ho or a Twinkie, can add years to any persons life.

With a shelf life of over 300 years for both products, how can you lose?

So, enjoy! Eat better, live longer!

First of all, you're not alone. Plenty of people suffer from a low self esteem. I'm no doctor, but it seems as if the root of your problem is your parents rather than yourself. There's one thing already that isn't your fault! Anyone who had a parent leave them would definitely feel abandoned, rejected, and worthless. It may be hard, but you just need to realize that it's not your fault why she left; It's her fault. And it doesn't help that your dad pushes you way too hard, giving you harsh punishments and pushing you for perfection. Just know that you're fine who you are. I can't say whether you're pretty or not, since I can't see you, but if others think you're pretty, then you must be. And you're in a very healthy weight range, so don't worry about losing any more weight. Before you starve yourself, remember that people who are way too skinny tend to be even less attractive since they look like skeletons. Just be yourself and don't deprive your body of necessary calories to function. It may be difficult knowing that you're only thirteen so you're under your dad's rules, but just remember that if you're getting straight A's, that's very wonderful and it shows that you're a hard worker and an intelligent young woman. Don't push yourself to be a perfectionist or it will only lower your self esteem more and wear you down physically and mentally. I suggest seeing a counselor or someone in that nature who can further help you. Good luck:)

The scientist has beaten the smart @$$ today. You can't live on a fat/protein diet without eating at least 50 carbs each day. "Fat burns in a fire of carbohydrates."
