You would be a mattress because you put sheets on mattresses. You're not a ghost because You're not see-through.

I think this is an amussing question--
I think if you (or a kid) wears a sheet for Halloween they can be whatever their imaginations let them.
Ghost-- Mattress -- some kids might think its a super hero costume.. you never know what kids can come up with!
