Usually in Bio-Chemistry we teach:-C6H12O6+6O2>>6CO2+6H2O---the ratio of CO2 produced toO2 consumed is 6CO2/6O2=1--Respiratory Quotient(R.Q.)=1.For carbohydrates R.Q=1--for Fats=0.7 and Proteins=0.8---brain's R.Q.=1--so brain can use only Glucose as Energy supplier-so brain if deprived of glucose(Hypoglycemia) even for a second giddiness(head spin),sweating etc would result.like Liver etc brain can not use fat etc as Energy Supplier.I do not know what is the significance of the above quesion?

Put the coefficients in a ratio. 6 for CO2, 1 for C6H12O6 is a ratio of 6:1.

Look at the numbers in front of each of the chemicals: 6:1.
