If it used in the right context and within a proper frame of communication then it can be helpful. There are some forms and realms of the porn industry that are not helpful, but those are the more extreme. Just so long as it depicts legal, consenting adults (no matter how many) it can be healthy.

Porn, like most things in life, needs to be used in moderation. Too much of it "desensitizes" people, and they must look at harsher, more graphic, and more violent forms in order to get the same "kick." Those who use violent porn do tend to have more violent fantasies, and that does tend to lead to more violent actions and behaviors. It also leads to a general disrespect for women...they become things to look at and not real people.

Used in moderation, pornography can be good visual stimulation. It isn't necessarily beneficial, but not harmful either.

However, in a relationship, care must be taken that it doesn't come before your partner. If your partner wants to be intimate with you, but you'd rather be alone with your porn, then you have a serious problem.

Sure ! keeps things hot and keeps you in touch with your own sexuality. It's beneficial for my husband and me. We have watched porn together (not a lot at all, a few times) and it really gets things intense. But you have to be really confident in yourself and your relationship. You can't go down psycho road and start accusing the other of all kinds of crap. If my husband was reading and watching porn without me, I would be ok with it as long as it wasn't completely abused. I mean, I am still only human.

The Nixon Presidency conducted a scientific study to determine if porn was harmful and their findings was that it was not.

The Reagan Presidency conducted a SURVEY to determine is porn was harmful and they said it was.

The question is do you want to trust a Survey or a Scientific Study?

Moderation is the key. Too much of anything--even a good thing-- can be harmful. I have found the porn is MUCH better when I share it with my wife and it becomes something that we do together.

many things in life can be either good or bad, depending on what a person does with them. if both partners are okay with it, i dont see a problem using porn like any other sex toy or aid, to add to thier experience. the problem arises when one partner has issues with it, and the other one doesnt. this is where they need to work out an understanding.

Depends to what extent it plays a part in your life. As in all things, balance is always key to measure benefits or lack there of in anything you do. If a person is dependent or addicted to porn, then it's an issue, otherwise, it's no biggie.

Porn is harmful, especially to married men. When married men see young beautiful girls, they have that image in their mind. That image soon affects the man's relationship with his wife. He begins to think his wife should look like that, regardless of the fact that he maybe in his 40's and 50's, bald and has a pot belly. Before you know it, he dumps his hardworking, faithful wife for a much younger woman. Well, then as that relationship progresses, 9 out of 10 times, the younger woman dumps her older boyfriend for a younger man. So, now where does that leave him?

Porn destroys marriages, period.

It can be beneficial if it stimulates the partners involved. I not only does it give you ideas for new positions and such, but it may open up more ideas for better sex.
