When women fret about their beauty, it's usually their weight they want to change (downwards, almost invariably). While thin-to-average women are generally regarded as more attractive than heavy-to-obese women, weight is only one aspect of beauty; and a diet ain't going to change your low cheekbones, big nose, sticky-out ears, boring hair, unsymmetrical face, et cetera. So why the focus on weight? Just because it's one of the more changeable properties of a woman?
