I would have to say....
The most annoying trait my partner has is the way he tends to jump into the middle of conversations that he would be better off staying out of.

My hubby's most annoying trait is being so damn positive all the time! LOL! Just once, I would like to hear him rant about the injustice of something instead of calmly reviewing both sides of the coin! But sice that is all I have to fuss about, I am doing pretty good!:)

Hi foxymoron,
Freaking out and letting small issues overwhelm her. I answer the phone and am greeted with "I have a ga-jillion things to do!"
I play the role of listening, encouraging her to take one thing at a time. Soon she has balance and is much easier to communicate with. But while it's happening, it is very un-nerving.
My list of faults is lengthy, so I figure this is a pretty small one. She is perfect except for this single trait.

My wife has a pathological inability to dump ice out of a glass when she's done using it, or to put a jar of peanut butter back in the cabinet. Drives me crazy.
Recognizing that these are both pretty minor idiosyncracies, however, I just mutter under my breath and deal with them without bringing it up. It could be far, far worse....

He is flighty sometimes and he talks more about what's going on in his head than his heart, but I know how he really feels, so while annoying - it is still OK with me. The flightiness can drive me nuts though.

Being completely idiotic about finances. It haunts him every year, which in turn, makes life pretty stressful for US.
