Like the Saints after Katrina, we should root for the Falcons to be successful in the wake of Mike Vick's B.S. I am not a Falcon fan, but I will root hard for them this year to make it to the playoffs, and forget about Vick forever! Whaddya think?

Yes, you can not make the whole team responsible for one individual.

Yeah, I agree. There are no other teams that are going through more struggles then the Falcons. One can make an argument for the Bangles with all of there arrests last year. But if they do well this year you will get two good things, one the Falcons will be able to move on easier and Mike Vick will be discredited as a QB because if Joey Harrington can do it then Mike Vick must really be a horrible QB after all.

All bandwagon jumpers unite! You don't even need to wait for the season, now you have "your" team. Awww, poor Falcons, you made your own bed by sticking with Vick over Dan Reeves, and Jim Mora, hopefully you go 16-0 and prove how terrible Vick was, and what a huge improvement Harrington will be. I will be following my Steelers just like every year.

Yea, good idea Stonewall. As a Falcon fan myself, I would welcome that!!

I love me some Falcons, and I am pulling for Joey Harrington and the team! Ya just never know--

As for the guy that says that the Falcon team is supporting Michael Vick, I doubt that. Only Joe Horn has publicly defended him, and Joe doesn't really count because this is his first year as a Falcon and he is wayyyy bitter because he came to the Falcons to play with Vick, and then there is NO Vick. I bet the entire veteran team hates Michael Vick, one because he was a showboat and a ball hog, and two because he brought undeserved shame and disgrace to their organization. And, because of the timing of Vick's demise, he has put them in the position to have to completely adjust their game plan at a time that they should be cementing their game plan.

Edit:
What's that crazy person SHEL ranting about? 'It's" a little off the subject isn't it?? Dang, what a retard, LOL

HELL NAW! What happened to my New Orleans Saints was a NATURAL DISASTER. What happened to the Falcons was a MENTAL DISASTER. Vick simply did not think before he started doing this crap. He could have stopped and he had control over that situation. We didn't ask for a hurricane to come hit New Orleans nor could we stop it. I am a bonafide Saints fan, so I automatically hate the Falcons, so I'm glad they're shorthanded this year. We'll embarrass the hell outta them this year just like we did last year. I hope they never make the playoffs. Phuck Da Falcons!

I'm all about them making Vick look bad. (And Matt Millen via Joey Harrington, like I said in another of your questions.) However, I'm not really down with adopting a team because of a tragedy, etc. I see your point though.

I am not anti-Falcons either though.

I would still root for the Saints over the Falcons. Comparing to the drama of one man's stupidity versus the suffering of an entire city really isn't a fair comparison. Besides, the New Orleans area still isn't completely fixed, and they could still use as much support as they can get.

Sure why not. I'm sick of this oh let's root for this team or that team. I'm a STEELERS fan. There is no other team that I need to root for. If you don't have a team then go ahead and root for the Falcons like that.

New Orleans sufered a horrible tragedy...

To hell with the Saints. 90% of the Schmucks on that team probably feel bad for Vick and want him back..
