If yes, then another question;
Is his conversation a running dialogue or the traditional prayer type relationship?
If traditional prayer, then another question:
Does God answer prayers?
IF so then you know God told Bush to invade Iraq and whether or not he told the Palestinians is completely irrelevant.
Our country is indistinguishable from a theocracy. Our leader makes decisions based on prayer and the answers to prayer. So why grief Iran etc.

Yes, but a lot of people talk to God. The difference is that he think God talks back to him:

"I feel like God wants me to run for President. I can't explain it, but I sense my country is going to need me. Something is going to happen... I know it won't be easy on me or my family, but God wants me to do it."
--George W. Bush commenting to Texas evangelist James Robinson in the run-up to his presidential campaign

"God told me to strike at al Qaeda and I struck them, and then he instructed me to strike at Saddam [Hussein], which I did, and now I am determined to solve the problem in the Middle East. If you help me I will act, and if not, the elections will come and I will have to focus on them."
--Palestinian Authority Prime Minister Abu Mazen quoting Bush when they met in Aqaba; reported in The Haaretz Reporter by Arnon Regular

"I don't think that witchcraft is a religion. I wish the military would rethink this decision." - to ABC NEWS, June 1999, regarding Ft. Hood's decision to allow Wiccan rituals

I think people attack me because they are fearful that I will then say that you're not equally as patriotic if you're not a religious person. ... I've never said that. I've never acted like that. I think that's just the way it is. (Washington Times, 12 January 2005)

I trust God speaks through me. Without that, I couldn't do my job.

nicely, you are able to nicely be optimistic that he prays, like many individuals, yet he probably does not get any direct solutions that way. He additionally became sensible adequate to bypass to the Vatican and communicate privately with Pope John Paul II. John Paul became an outdated guy with a lot of scientific issues, yet on no account a fool, nor are the international-huge diplomatic and intelligence supplies on the Vatican. And the President has talked drastically with leaders of different faiths around the area.

We'll never know all those things because any discussion between GWB and GOD is considered confidential and falls under Executive Privilege.

Not only that but an E-mail thru the NRC was discovered that ordered GOD to not appear before congress even if subpoenaed. And GOD not only didn't testify, he didn't even appear.

Instead GWB Offered to Summarize GODs advice, as long as it wasn't under oath.

I do believe he prays to God and tries to follow God's leading. Whether he gets it all right or not isn't my call and just what goes on between the two of them isn't my buisness. As for Iran, there again who knows what God and Bush are about as far as they go.

I think he talks to someone named God but it aint the God the rest of us pray to.

Neeneepw, make sure you capitalize the G in God, if you want to spell your god's name with a lower case letter than use the b for bush but when it comes to the real deal, show a little respect.

Yes, Bush DOES talk to God. I overheard one conversation.

God said, "Shut up and go home." And then she prepared for the interview of Jerry Falwell into the Kingdom of Heaven. She told him to go someplace else as well.

Peace.

People with schizophrenia often hear voices. Most are not in a position to do anything. Some are serial killers and well, you might guess that one might be President. Out of 43 presidents it had to be one would be nuts at some point. We happen to have that one during our lifetime.

Lots of people talk to God. The question is, does God talk to Bush or has he chalked him up for a lost cause like the rest of us have?
