Drop trou, for pay, for a wealthy man. (that's what it was about) ..hustling & the grit/drugs of that lifestyle (way back, 40 years ago?)... 'walking on the wild side' was a depiction of what was going on, on the "wild" westside of lower Manhattan in the raunchy, anything goes night of the 60's/70's. Young men "walked" the old piers, down there... and were picked-up generally by married, New Jersey and upper-Manhattan chicken-hawks... fact.
