I've had two people use the word "dominatrix" associated with me...what's up with that? One was my best friend and the other was my mom's old boyfriend (eeewww!!) No, I don't dress or act slutty!

It's their way of saying that you are both sexy and strong. Take it as a compliment.

Okay, the word 'dominatrix' comes from the Sado-Masochism sexual practices of some ... and unfortunately it has 'found it's way' into 'normal speech.' Evidently you are a person who 'knows her mind' and is somewhat 'agressive' when others think you should 'sit down and shut up' because of your age and/or gender.
If I were you, I'd have a 'good talk' with both of these 'very rude' (situationally, anyway) people about their use of this word in reference to you. Tell them that you are 'strong minded' but that does NOT mean that you are a 'dominatrix' and that you wish they would 'learn the language' better so that they don't 'accidentally' call you something that you KNOW you are not.
Whether you actually do 'have this talk' with either person is up to you ... and I must 'admit' to wanting to 'play a bad joke' on both of these people, since a person who was a 'dominatrix' would 'demand' a 'talk' ... but would have a quirt (for whipping a horse when riding) handy to 'keep them in line' ... but I really do think that they may have 'unknowingly' used the 'wrong' word, and that you NEED TO 'clear things up' with them about what they 'really meant' to say, and about what in your behavior made them call you it to begin with.

Okay , I'm going to tell you what it means, the word is Latin , and means female ruler or mistress. The common form adressed for a submisive dominatrix is 'mistress' or 'ma'am' . Maybe you are spoiled , but not as a brat that gets everything you want , I don't know.. For guys , the equivalent to 'dominatrix' is 'master' .. If that confused you look it up in the dictionary ! Oh , also .. i've been refered to this , because I was with a guy one year younger than me .. Dominatrix is also used to describe an older-woman younger man relationship

I've had that word associated with me as well. I take it as I have a dominant personality and I can see where they'd think that about me. I wouldn't put too much thought into it, though. I guess us Taurus' are a bold batch!

Being a "dominatrix" doesn't really have to do with dressing or acting slutty hun. It has to do with being dominant/dominating situations or people.

Well if it's not the way you dress, then it must be the way you carry yourself. With a domineering spirit.
