I first thought that this was another one of those "Conspiracy Theories" you hear about but the more I've read on this, it seems more than a possibility to happen, and yet no one I know has any idea this is going on behing US citizens backs.

This really isn't new. There were discussions about the North American Free Trade Agreement back in the early to mid 90s, but people weren't paying attention. Now, all this stuff has been repackaged and called the Northern American Union and sensationalized, so folks are finally paying attention. As long as "free trade" worked to the advantage of the US, no problem but the moment the other countries started getting an advantage...then people are angry.

I've read what there is out there about it. I doubt it would ever happen, but if it did, that would be a great day. Free trade on both sides of the border, without restrictions. A new currency that is even more powerful then the dollar. There really are no negatives from it.

Because it is highly unlikely that we would cede sovereignty to establish an EU type of organization when we clearly do not need to. The united states will always be the most powerful nation on earth now and always.
