In bathrooms, which tend to be smaller, I like to go with lighter colors - nothing dark to close it in. Other than that and making sure the paint you get is rated for bathrooms, the sky's the limit. A lot of people like yellow because it is bright and sunny, or cooler colors like light blues and greens for relaxation, or neutrals like tan and gray so that you can change out accessories whenever you like.
Personally, I like the blue and gray families of colors the best for bathrooms (my bathrooms are both silvery gray) and I like something with a slight sheen to it (satin or semi-gloss, or glaze treatment) because I like the way the light hits it and changes it in an area where you sometimes sit bored and stare at the walls.
Hope you have fun with whatever colors you choose! (:

Honestly pretty much any color goes. It depends what look you want to go for and what the color of your cabinets is. Just make sure that you use a paint that can retain dampness well.
For the blue, white contrasts really well and then you can add any kind color accessories to it. The key is usually not too have too many colors going on. Stick to about 3. So you will have blue flooring, plus a color for walls plus color for your things.
Each color combination will give a different mood. So get some swatches from a paint store and see what you like.
It's hard to tell not being able to see your bathroom.

For the navy you can go with a lighter blue, yellow, beige.
The other one, take into consideration light source. If low light, then avoid darker tones or grey tones that get too somber and dull. What rooms does this bathroom attach to? Is there a color in there you can repeat (in some manner)?
Try the Behr paint company or Sherwin-Williams company web sites and play with their paint program. Then the problem becomes too many choices.

Pure white is the best color for a bathroom. It helps you to see dirt and mold which are harmful and toxic. If you have colors that blind those bacterias then your health could be in jeopardy. It also makes the bathroom bright. This is why most bathrooms are white color clean. Advice you to use Semi-Gloss paint or full Gloss paint so that it will not attract mold and dirt but able for you to clean up easily with water and cloth.

Something that is relaxing in colors never anything to bright. I love grays. You cna also paint a sold color then sponge on another just to add some more color into the bathroom. My bathroom is a bule-ish gray color and I like it when I take baths cause its not hard on the eyes.

Dark colors are good for bathrooms assuming that the room isn't tiny to begin with. I personally like deep reds or blues for them, with a flat based paint. If too much moisture in the room is going to be an issue (i.e., it gets really steamy), you might want to go for a semi-gloss as the oil in the paint will help repel water.
