This would stop the pornographic pictures from being able to be put on here. I find them very disgusting. My daughter likes to use this site for make-up and hair styles, and I'm starting to be afraid to let her use it.

I totally agree with you. Children are on this site and people who do such disgusting things should be banned. But since that can't be done, the avatars should be enforced at least.

I sort of agree and sort of disagree. If people used actual pictures of themselves, you'd know whos asking/ answering and it's a nice change from an inaccurate cartoon depiction of yourself. But on the other hand, ur right about the pornographic pictures. I just think Yahoo needs to be more disciplinary when it comes to these pictures, and some of the names too. You know, like say you get suspended 3 more times, ur no longer allowed to use that account. Also, a name tracker would do, like not allowing people to be named skinhead charlie, or $mitty, because the yahoo team will already know they are trouble makes. Yahoo right now is ruling with a marshmallow fist, and they need to turn the soft and fluffy into iron. I think people should still have the right to post pics of themselves on here, but have yahoo be more strict on what pics to add, like MySpace, they disallow violent and nudity/ sexually explicit pictures. Why let the idiots ruin it for everyone else? I really dont like those cartoon avatars very much anyway, so inaccurate and all look the same, not for me :(

I completely agree with you on this. I do not like the pornographic images, I have my computer in the kitchen so that my husband and I can monitor the kids. How is it looking to my 10 year old when he can see adult images on display on a site he knows his Mom frequents. It truly is sad some people have such little self control.

I agree with you. I am afraid for my daughter to see some of the nasty pics on here as well. I think it's a shame that a few classless, juvenile people on here can't grow up and stop using pornographic pictures and plotting how to get people suspended on here.
