If a man has sex every day does that down grade the potentcy of the sperm?
If I am trying to concieve should I have sex everyday, every other day, or only focus on ovulation time?
I've heard different things. I wanna see what most of you say so please answer.

There are less sperm per count if ejaculation is occurring once a day or several times a day which could reduce the chances of strong swimmers getting to your egg. Of course everyone is different and regardless of his sperms potency there are your eggs and how good they are or are not at any given time to be penetrated. It would be wise to hold off on masturbation or sex until you are ovulating and then go at it full force for that week. But don't over think it or stress out or else you can help ensure you won't get pregnant. Your body will pick up and react to your moods and can shut down certain functions to help protect itself, including discarding the egg. Best of Luck thought you, I'll be rooting for you both.

In the book "How to Choose the Sex of your Child", it says to make a girl do it every day right after you get off your period and then stop 3 days before ovulation because doing it every day will reduce sperm count leaving the stronger heartier female sperm waiting around for the egg. So yeah, I think it does lower sperm count but my husband and I did just what the book said to make a girl and I got pregnant the first try.

Every other day is best, espeically if you have any reason to think your hubby may have a sperm problem.
Having sex for 2 days in a row probably isn't going to hurt things too much as long as you take a break on the 3rd day, as long as hubby's counts are normal.

You should have sex just before ovulation, every other day through day 18.

I say mix it up, do it for example: Monday, wednesday, thursday, saturday, sunday...
Def. the day before ovulation if you can tell and the day of for sure.
The day after is too late because the egg would have died.

Try www.baby2see.com and it tells you to have sex every other day around ovulation.
