AMD processors are notorious for not displaying the information correctly in Windows. I have seen loads of instances of this although since you didnt include the numbers you see it is hard to tell what is going on.

All Amd processors are marked on top with the processor name (athlon, duron) etc. and their speed.

If you can remove the heat sink from the top of the processor you will see a small raised rectangle. This is the actual chip and will be stamped with the information you need.

Be careful to take precautions to avoid damaging the processor with the static from your body. Leave the power cord plugged in and keep one hand on the metal case to ground yourself.

With incorrect bios settings for the processor speed and frequency, windows ( and the motherboard ) wont correctly identify the processor.

Depending on what program you're running to read the info, many will not show the correct info for your chip.

Have you tried typing the character string into a search engine?

Alternatively, contact the company that made the system.

If you're willing to risk it, you can also open your BIOS and see the proc settings there.

Download cpuz and it will give you the info you need, and it's free. You also can find this info from the device manager section, but cpuz will give you cpu info and memory info along with mem speed.
