It's almost like the media thinks that all African Americans are followers and will not do their homework on Barack Obama like other Americans will. Also I don't think there is a thing called the "Black vote" or the "Latino vote". I think that everybody has there own individual opinions and values regardless of his or her race.

The prison system is a breeding ground for Islamic exstreamisum which they will not say out loud but here the facts on Obama.

I will give the low down about Obama and you may not like it but if you follow the links to the policitco.com articles and read it all you will not like or trust Obama.
He is the biggest liar on the campaign trail.
1.. He used an innocent man in Iowa to get free new and his PR people lied to keep the spin going. This man is a Armenian Physicist here doing some work with some of the most important programs for Universities and the Government. And he was helping a friend in Cincinnati Ohio out with his novelty card business when Obama used him read the links.

2. He is not a Christian as you will not find one Muslim saying a word about his so called conversation from Islam. You can convert to Islam but not away as it is called a fatwa or to us a death sentence. No one word about this.

3. He stated he would invade Pakistan who is an alley on terrorism and barely holding on with eh Islamic extremist there. Which was done by Obama to destabilize this country that has a nuke and I will add the only Muslim country that does. Why would he do this even Hillary knows this is very bad.

4. He last week said he would never use the Nuke which was a signal that if he wins that they the Islamic terrorist who wishes us all to be dead can do it and he will not act. Id this what you want for a president? No look at what Turkey did to Christians and they will end all of the things you love on the left as we are all infidels to them and the left here is satin itself.

The media lies about everything. You know what they say about the word assume: It makes an a_ _ out of u and me. If they chose to lie, do you have to believe them?

I can tell you that Senator Barack supports amnesty for illegals and would like to ban guns in Illinois. Senators Barack and Durbin and Gov Rob are trying to push laws that violate the rights of US citizens - like giving driving permits to illegals without insurance, looking the other way when illegals protest on foreign soil to them - they have no rights to do this and should be hauled away during the protest and deported. And with the open borders, the drug cartel are infiltrating every city with guns - yet Barack doesn't think citizens need to protect themselves from the government's lack of enforcing the laws?

I don't think we have to worry about it too much. He isn't a leader in Illinois. How could he lead a nation?

If candidates haven't been in politics long enough to have votes, they shouldn't be running for President. They should first learn more about the government so they have a better understanding of what it takes to get others to follow your lead.

You need to search for the truth by looking at past voting records, contributions to organizations and other affiliations.

For the same reason they assume we all eat KFC & drink 40's & smoke Newports and watch BET all day. Becuase they they are mostly WHITE........
Actually The Black community is not a single voice or mind set. I'm a prime example. I'm a hard core Republican, Hate Jesse & Sharpton, Work for a living, and have never been on a COPS episode. I can speak English perfectly & have never been a rap fan. I think Sen. Obama has a appeal to the masses. However most of the black leadership( what ever that is) Is still on the Clinton bandwagon.

It will come down to who spends the $$$ on election day to see who wins in the hood.

In general (IN GENERAL), Black people are Democrats. (Note: I use the term "Black" because not every person with color should be assumed to come from Africa.)

That, combined with the race affiliation, is plenty for most casual voters.

But really, that's two reasons to vote for him. The first is that many people vote party lines "accross the board" in elections...so he should get a huge chunk of ANY Democrat's vote. The "Black thing" should be enough to push a couple of the fence-walkers over, if they're Black. And it might push a few moderate non-Democrats to vote for him if they're black...or if they just want to get a Black person into the Presidency.

I don't think you're asking this, but if you don't think that Black people will side with someone just because they're Black, go back and check out the polls from when OJ Simpson was on trial, or (more recently) with Mike Vick. There were large racial differences in the % of people who sided with them.

IN FACT, to bring this back to your question, there were many Blacks who thought he was guilty, but glad that he "beat the system." ...And wouldn't a Black man be the ultimate system-beater? It sure would.

Many blacks and latinos have also been unaware that there was a black or latino vote. But since these terms have been repeated over and over and taught to us all, we are all starting to believe more and more that these single race or skin color votes actually exist. And because we believe, they do begin to exist. What better way to generate large quantity votes than to convince people to group together for a single stance in politics!

I don't think the media assumes this. I've watched show after show that has pundits discussing how the Democratic black vote is going more to Hillary than Obama. But they do act as though all blacks automatically vote Democratic. I agree with you that assuming all blacks vote one way only is completely ignorant. My Stepmom is black and is a staunch Republican for instance. It's really insulting to all blacks to take where they will place their vote for granted.

honestly i don't think they do assume that; they know that there are african americans who are supporting the other candidates. also, yes there is such a thing as a black vote and a latino vote, it is simply a statistic and it is indeed a real thing that candidates try to get. it just means that they try to get the support of those segments of the population. same as there is a white vote, a female vote, whatever.

Amen! I wish the media would just stop overemphasizing Obama's race or Clinton's gender, treat them as other politicians and just look at how they support or don't support the ISSUES.

Ever wonder why the media NEVER looks at white male candidates and assume that only white males will vote for them? but yet they come up with ludicrous labels like the "soccer mom" vote...it's like they are trivializing voters who are neither white nor male.

Simply because some one wrangles their way into the news media camera take, Does Not Indicate Any Intelligence on their part or the news media leadership's !!!
I am sure you have noticed that many of the "news gurus" / "common 'tators" are of the mindset that they are smarter, more educated, and better positioned to "educate and guide" the stupid public !!!!

'cause the media likes to put people in neat little boxes and label them.

anyone with any common sense, who isn't just a sheep and follows the crowd, is free to make up there own mind based on what they think to be true.

just because I'm a female doesn't mean I have to vote for Hilary.
