My son, who has a history of being in trouble (unfortunately), was thrown in jail last night for petty theft. He says he didn't do it and, for some reason, I believe him this time. Lately, he has been giving it his all to make positive change in his life with family, friends, and co workers. He has even applied to college and has been accepted. He doesn't want this life any longer and is now having to pay for his past actions.

Would you please say a short prayer for him? Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Everyone, thank you so very much for all the thoughts and prayers. It is incredible to see that people that have never met me or my son can have so much compassion for us. I really need it. So does he. I thank you so very much.

Hi Sandy,
I wanted to share my mother's favorite Bible text with you..."I will contend with him that contendeth with thee, and I WILL SAVE THY CHILDREN." She prayed for me a long time...and now I am praying for others. I will be so glad to pray for you and your son. I will pray that God will give you wisdom in helping him and that He will place a wall of protection around your son. I also will pray that your son continue in the positive path it seems he is taking and that he will have a close relationship with Jesus. Take care...

Sandy... some of us here have a "history" of many different things. One of the great aspects of having the King's love, is being able to receive His forgiveness. And speaking from experience, I know that sometimes it takes a time of troubles to put me in the place where I finally realized I was going no where without following the King.

So yes...I definitley want to be involved in praying for your son. I know it might not happen overnight, and it may take some time...but when God chases...well...I can run and run, but I just can't outrun God.

I'd like you to know that I'll be telling the rest of my friends about your prayer request. We would all want to be involved in stepping in for your son, and lifting him up, so he is wrapped in our prayers.
