Pick up a copy pf the 2007 GM Performance Parts catalog at your Chevrolet parts counter. If they don't have it they'll order it for you The part # is 19170580. The latest parts an recommended combinations are in there so that you'll avoid mistakes when you buy parts.
The stroker 383 - 400 block from Chevrolet has added clearance for the extra swing of the connecting rod bolts. There are at least a dozen types of cylinder heads, camshafts, intake manifolds, blocks and carburetors listed with great pictures. The catalog's a steal for the grand total of $5.00.

If you buy a partial, short or complete motor it comes with a 24,000 or two year warranty. No other parts house can match it.

Good luck with your project!
