Does anyone know the name of that moive where a crazy lady locks her kids up in the attic like their whole lives or something? I heard of this movie while watching vh1 on i love the 80s or 90s. if anyone could help me out that would be great.

The answers that said Flowers in the Attic are right. I just wanted to comment on how old I feel now that you said a movie from the 80's or 90's is an older movie. Would you consider Casablanca or Citizen Kane to be like hieroglyphics?

The movie was "Flowers In The Attic" based on the book by VC Andrews. The book is actually the first in a three part series that she wrote, and the book is much better than the movie, which was a really bad adaptation.

Flowers In The Attic...
After the death of her husband, a mother takes her kids off to live with their grandparents in a huge, decrepit old mansion. However, the kids are kept hidden in a room just below the attic, visited only by their mother who becomes less and less concerned about them and their failing health, and more concerned about herself and the inheritence she plans to win back from her dying father.
