how can you people say Schilling is getting in and not Pedro?? Pedro has 3 more Cy Young's than Schilling and his 2.81 career ERA is better than ANY other active pitcher. He has had ONE season with an ERA over 4 and that was just last year. Maddux, RJ and Clemens can't say that. You guys have obviously not watched baseball for very long. Biggio is a certain HOF and maybe Bagwell. Sheffield and Schilling are interesting but I say they probably gets in but not on the first ballot. Edmonds, Tino and Mo no way.

Okay, none of the first two think Bagwell has more than an outside chance? You've gotta' be joking - he's a first-ballot no-brainer. He put up monster numbers for a long time, and that MVP award won't hurt.
Pedro is also another guy who should be on everyone's ballot. He had better peak years than any pitcher of the past 25 years, and his overall career numbers are incredible.
Biggio will also get in for being one of the greatest second basemen of all-time, especially now that he has 3,000 hits. I'd say Schilling and Sheffield both have better than a 50/50 shot thanks to long and impressive careers, while there's no chance for Edmonds, Tino and Mo Vaughn.

1. Maybe, Had a long run of good numbers and an MVP. probably a 75% chance
2. Yes, no question
3. Maybe, needs a few more stats to go with the memorable moments, his mouth will hurt him with voters
4. No, good CF but not great HOF caliber
5. Yes, dominating stats for his career
6. Not a snowballs chance in hell, one great year
7. Less of a chance than Tino, a few good years but not enough to warrant entrance to the Hall
8. I say No but he may be a maybe, he has some numbers but voters may not like a lot about him.

Bagwell and Biggio - 1st ballot (Bagwell will go in before Biggio by one year, Biggio in 2012, Bagwell in 2011)
Edmonds, Schilling, Pedro, Martinez, Mo Vaughn are all second ballot guys unless they do something spectacular in their careers (Vaughn's career is over).
Sheffield is another matter because of Barry Bonds. He's in but it will be really close.

I think Craig Bigio and Gary Sheffield. I could also see Jeff Bagwell on a outside chance. The rest I don't think they had that big of a impact on the game or the stats to get them there.

I think Bagwell, Bigio, Shilling and Martinez are deffinats.
Bagwell with the numbers he put up in his career. Bigio I think has put up good numbers in his career, plus being an all star in his carreer as a catcher, 2nd baseman, and center fielder might help.
Shilling has good career numbers that I think will help him. And Pedro, deffinatly has the numbers, plus having won the Cy Young award will help.
The rest, it's possible. Sheffield might, he's put up good numbers in his career.
