I know some of you have seen half baked, how high and friday. What i want to know is was the weed that was in those movies real? Because if it is i would love to be in the next movie with weed in it. :)

If you listen to Mitch Hedberg's stand up routine, he mentions being in a movie where he smoked weed with Peter Frampton, but it was fake weed.
He goes on to say that he'd rather smoke real weed with a guy who LOOKS like Peter Frampton, he's done that wayyyy more...

Yes and no like many others wrote most of props but movies like the cheech and chong series all real u can almost smell it through the t.v when tommy chong and cheech were smoking it plus tommy chong has been trying to legalize forever ...Sometmes u can tell just look at the reaction to the actors if it's real they most likely hold it in more and have that damn this is some good refer look and if it's fake they exhale quickly and have what is this skunk weed type of look cause u know they would want the best grade of weed they can have ..actors wont smoke the cheap stuff ...they wouldnt have to many friends if they did..... 420 forever puff puff pass

If it were real, and some one at the productions insurance company got wind of it, they would be in default breach of contract and be responsible for up to treble (means three times) damages generally formulated by the budget figures of the production. In short, illicit drugs are NEVER on set,
at least not with the producers knowledge of it anyway.

What they were smoking on camera, at least, is usually a prop. But, stoners make stoner movies, so there was probably plenty around the set.

well....that is a damn good question. i am sure some have done it with actual pot, but others....not so much.
