And the worst?

FQ:
Do you think someone has cursed England players?
Why do our players keep getting metatarsal injuries on the eve of major competitions or games?

Thank you

By losing the Revolutionary War, GB "gave" the United States of America to the world. lolz. I consider that the best and the worst.

FQ: There are no such things are curses, Mz. Ask any scientific/rational mind and they will tell you the same. I think you are exaggerating - I can think of many evenings prior to major games in which English players did not get injured at all.

You're welcome.

The best thing would have to be the football, the English language, and authors such as Jane Austen, JK Rowling and JRR Toilken. And of course, William Shakespeare.

The worst thing: Not exactly sure.
Edit: Actually I agree with Cherie, it would have to be colonialism.
