I love you Roz. If I promise to take care of your cat for the rest of it's life will you marry me?

Excellent point.
However; it's not the question
that's being hated on-it's the ignorance or lack of taste that
is being tacklessly displayed by the questioner.
At times the askers are begging
for shock values, and it works.
And other times the questions
make personal attacks and
insinuate certain myths or
stereotypical ideologies
and degrading comments.
At that point it's no longer just a question; it's an assault. And people nowadays are accustomed
to defending themselves when provoked.
But I admire your views and perspectives. This was a terrific
question, one that needed to be asked and publicized. I can see you are an extremely intellectual
individual with a tremendous gift
for comprehension. You've earned
a star...and I wish you much luck
with the bright future which awaits you just around the bend. Peace.

I agree, but some do it just to aggravate and to get the 2 points. If i answered all the questions i passed on, I'd be level 7 by now.

Well, the only time I do that is if the question is obviously bogus. I have to let them know that they didn't get over on me. I don't know why I am like that. I just am. I am The Hump you see. You have to be able to get over The Hump.

If I don't like a question, Roz, I just skip it. I wouldn't waste my time answering a question, I didn't care for. Rock On!

Responding to questions we dislike makes it interesting. Isn't that the point of the exercise - to be interesting or thought provoking?

Because it gives one a chance to express their feelings essentially. It's out there, seen, and so there's a lot of drive internally to answer it. How's that?
