Right here, this morning. Lots of those multiple choice question.
Rare form refers to a persons actions that are not typical for him/her, but may be exceedingly intelligent or humorous. In any case, well above what you would expect from that person.

When I was p'ssed at the cable company...they talked me into bundling all my stuff...TV , phone and Internet and now if I'm 20 seconds late on the bill...they flip the little no service switch. It's only happened once and it was a weird situation...but my Internet went down at 5 am and I was in the middle of answering a cool question.
Oh yeah...it means going on a rant and really blowing steam!

I haven't heard that expression in ages!! Here in Cali, we would say something like, "Dude, that's rare form". Meaning something that doesn't happen often or something you don't see every day. Like a midget with three titties is "rare form".

I always thought it meant people getting drunk and ranting a lot or being in a horrible mood and letting everyone have it.
I think I was in rare form earlier this morning... I was kinda harsh.

I think it means whern your having the greatest day
and you make everyone around you laugh or if you don't know them, smile.
It's been a while since I was in rare form, but I have awesome moments.....LOL
