I just got a card in the mail saying JANE will no longer be published but I can get Lucky in its place (no thanks). What's the story? I've gotten JANE for years!!

It wasn't making money, they replaced Jane Pratt in '95 with another editor but it kept losing money, then the publisher Conde Nast stopped the publication.

It's gone :( I'm sad about it too. The new editor must have sucked. Check out the website below. it's a good fourm for airing your frustration.

I had no idea! I subscribed for years until, unfortunately, I felt too old. But it was a great 'zine. Good interveiws, useful advice, snarky. Sorry to hear it is gone.
