Buster, the greatest dog ever! I rode on his back when I was little. He took naps on the porch with cats and kittens piled on top of him. He was a border collie. Helped with sheep and cows. He was VERY protective of family.
He was killed by a drunk driver. The only time I ever saw my father cry was when Buster died.

My favorite pet was an abandoned doggy our family took in. I named him Bubby, and he was a beautiful and big dog. He was seemingly part wolf dog and part Collie. He used to go with me on my newspaper route and keep me company. He was a real good dog and smart too. I've not had a pet in decades now unfortunately, and I've no idea when I will get one. I've thought about a cat, but I don't think I'd like the cat hair being over everything and the hair balls and the litter box deal.

Well myne would have to be my cat Kimba
The tradgic story of waht happened
We wanted to euthnize her because she was suffering from so many things. So we called the vet and said we want to put her down and they set up an appointment 2 days later. We took her in. I wore a mourning dress but my mom made me stay in the waiting room with my dad while she went back. She came out 45 minutes later with no cat so i run up to her and hug her and start crying. I think she is gone. But no!!!! My mom said she is still in the back because they want to fix her up. We said absolutly not and took the records and left this vet immediately. 2 months later we find a nicer vet and put her down there! It was tradgic and so sad and she was 18 and she had a great life with me and i miss her each and every day (Died October 23rd 2005)

My good friend Benji, i had him for about 14 years. His past away back in 2003, and he has been sadly missed ever since. He was a great dog, that loved to spend hours running around in the park. He didn't care for rain nore snow.

I don't have one favorite, they are all my favorite. Currently I have eight pets. 5 cats 1dog and two hamsters. When I was growing up the only pet I was allowed by my mother was fish and I had to beg her for that. Finally when I turned 18 she's accepted.

My dog Alex.
He was so ugly he was cute. Big ears he never grew into, being a terrier mix, and had no idea what kind.
Smart as a whip they say, and learned to act according to hand commands.
Lost him several years ago, and he is forever in my heart.
Some dogs just do that to you.

no one beats the first pet. my first pet is a dog, she is just a mutt but she is just so sweet, she has this funny way of barking, funny way of sitting and as all dogs do before they lay down on the floor they circle around a few times.... my dog does that too, only after she circled a few times, she will stand up and circle around again in opposite direction! i think she might have OCD
