My husband and I both get brazilian sugarings (like waxing) and we both love it. I started a few years ago and encouraged him to try it last year. We go every four weeks together.

Although he really likes being "bare", he's now embarrassed to use the showers at the gym and the pool and waits until he gets home to shower. Do you think that most guys would feel this way? Would anyone even notice? I have no problem with showering at the gym, but I'm sure it's different for guys.

I have to say that I'm very surprised by the negative reaction from nearly everyone. I guess I'm weird that I find it sexy. It's also so much more pleasant when it comes to oral.

No he shouldn't be embarrassed at the gym or of his waxing. He is just getting his professionally done where a lot of guys (including myself) just shave. I mean, regardless of what anyone else tells me, my wife likes it so I don't care what the other guys think.

I fully know what you mean about it feeling good, but there does seem to be a underlining belief that the lack of hair is feminine and hairy is masculine. Its hard to fight stereo types. In all truth he should care what other's think.

I am a male and I would feel exactly like your husband does! Hairlessness is considered a feminine trait. I'm not saying it's right that it is considered feminine -- but I'm not the one making up the rules, and neither is your husband! Please don't give him a hard time about it.

As a woman, if I saw a grown man with no pubic hair, I would laugh so hard. In fact, I had an ex lover who shaved once and I couldn't stop laughing at him. He wanted me to shave mine, so I told him I would if he did, but I didn't, well not for him 'cause he wasn't worth the effort. I think I made fun of him for about a month after that even though his hair grew back quickly. It was just so metro and that's not sexy especially since he was so proud. Should he be embarassed? Nah, he shouldn't care what others think about his pubes, just himself.

Guys look gay bare. The other guys will think so. Your fine of course who cares, we all shave or go completely bare, men don't.

I got shaved for mine vasectomy and it was really bazarre. Wouldn't suggest it for straight guys, although it may be a turnon for gays - wouldn't no.
