I think Hard Rock/Metal would be a good classification.
Most of the questions in the Rock/Pop section aren't pertinent to fans of heavier genres.
Pop and rock barely have anything in common as it is; pop and metal are two different worlds entirely. Where are the headbangers supposed to hang out? =)

Seriously, if people don't stop confusing their genres, I'll cry. SOAD, metal? That made me so sad. Anyway, yes, I think there should definitely be a section for metal, along with sugenres. I'm tired of sifting through all of the stuff they have in here to find anything worth looking at.

Agreed, but the mindless masses would probably kick up a fuss, cause they think everyone should listen to their pop music ****, and we should all dress look and act the same, just cause they can't think for themselves.
Metal is the best and most meaningful genre of music, it has true meaning to it, and beauty, it has a lot more to it than some stupid Britney Spears or some stupid boy band.

I totally agree!!!
I hated when I would look for tapes, yes TAPES, in some stores and bands like Testament would be in with "pop" cassettes. I was like come on man!
They need a pure no bs METAL section that covers ALL the various genres of METAL.

I absolutely agree with you. I f you wan to talk about Machine Head and Slayer it seems wrong to classify them as rock/pop.

Yes there should be a metal section, but please do not ever consider SOAD metal. They are a hit-driven rock band.
