Walk! I have given myself a 15 minute commute through backstreets and over a hill for the last 6 years except maybe twice a year when I have to go about 4 miles for training! Ideal!

I live in the beautiful mountains of Colorado in a ski town and in the summer I take either my cruiser bike or mountain bike to work, since the temp are around 40-50 in the morning and about 75 in the evening. In the winter I try and take the ski bus into town, but usually end up driving my car -- would love to be able to bike to work but after a 3 foot storm it makes it very hard..and cold.

I ride a bicycle 8 miles 1 way 3 times a week and ride my motorcycle or take the bus if it rains. In the winter though I drive my Cadillac when I have to but my ride bicycle on nice winter days. the Cadillac is nice but the gas mileage is not nice.

Normally I can take one bus to work and back home. It gets more tricky when it's holiday time and Sundays though. Speaking of which, I'm working Labor Day and I'm gonna have to go through some rigormarole to get to work and back home. I ride a bike for enjoyment mostly, though at times I take it with me to work when I work late so I can save time getting home. You take care and have a good one.
