a white line under the taskbar and I don't know how to fix.

My laptop is 15.4" widescreen.
The line also appears when I turn on the computer.
At the start were you have to put the password.
It never goes away.
Can anyone help me please???

Hardware problem. One of the display lines has gone bad inside the LDC display. Only fix is to replace the display. Usually in the $250-300 range - plus labor.

Or live with it....

its a hardware fault - your LCD is failing
i would guess one of the contacts is bad it may be a one off but i would think its going to get progressively worse.
get rid of it while its still worth something!

it depends on if the line is lamp bleedthrough or is actually somthing in the video hardware or driver .. i would try a different resolution and maybe uninstall then reinstall the graphics driver first ..

was ur laptop damaged?
it looks like it was, and thats y u r seeing such line.
if the line is appearing when u start ur pc, then it means that ur screen is damamged

Well, its there for a reason i guess. Take it to a repair place.
