Its just a question, im not judging anyone here. At night when i put out my garbage bags (they are in my garbage bins) i notice in the AM that someones been sifting through my garbage and all the cans are missing. Do you really make big $ off of doing this? I really dont mind but at least put the bags back in my garbage can and dont leave me the mess to clean up! Agree???

I have had the same issue. I guess the $ add up after awhile. Like you, I don't mind someone making a buck from my garbage, but there is no excuse in leaving you a mess.

Just be very careful with what you throw out. Identity thiefs pay good money to "dumpster divers" for personal information that they come across in the garbage.

Either they really need the money or they're evnironmental freaks. It's pretty messed up though that they just leave the garbage everywhere.

In reply to the British snob about the "you Americans being wasteful" it costs more energy and money to recycle than you think. It's actually not as environmentally friendly as people force you to believe.

I agree with you completely. I don't think aluminum is going for much these days. Makes you wonder if SOME of these people might actually be identity stealer's, looking for personal info.=)

Have you ever thought of recycling your cans? In Britain it is almost a law to do so, but you American's are so wasteful, and seem to have very little concern for the environment.
