Dearest, if you keep thinking that way, you won't but I think that eventually you will. You're young yet and there's someone out there for you. You've got more guts than I do trying the dating circuit these days; if I didn't have Truckinotter I don't know what I'd do. Today's dating scene scares the crap out of me.
You're a lovely young man and you should have no trouble finding your partner.

I gave up searching for true love a long time ago. I am not saying it is not possible I just think that is is a very hard thing to find either that or old cupid needs to get in some target practice.

Although I am not currently looking for it, I would like to think that we all will one day have the feeling of true love in our hearts, if not just with one person.
And on that, for you Macaroni and me, finding true love would be easier if I had your pic/email/360/myspace page so I could woo you. LOL
Except I know that I have competition from the dude thats always staring at you from the bathhouse you work at.

Unfortunately or fortunately anything is possible.
"A person can be in love with someone forever till the end of time. But if that person doesn't tell or show the feelings of love, it will be just another person living in a dream, lost of true love." - Unknown

I think most people could find true love if they allowed it. Too many of us, especially gay men, think what we're going to find is a perfect fit. That doesn't happen. True love is accepting someone warts and all, just as they're accepting you, warts and all.
I did find true love once. Unfortunately, it didn't last for reasons - some of which were my/his/our fault, and some beyond my/his/our control. I really miss the level of that relationship, and I do expect it to happen again. I'm just not going to force it; I'll recognize "him" when I see him. :)

Some will wander through life from one lustful relationship to the next, never committing themselves to anything for any length of time.
I'm not that way. I'm the opposite.
But if he dies and if I'm still around, I'm going to give the wandering lifestyle a brief try after an appropriate period of mourning.

no. i think everyone will find true love, when they stop blaming new ppl for things their ex's did, when they learn to sacrifice for their partner, when they learn to stop looking for someone to be perfect, because nobody is perfect, until you fall in love with them, i think once ppl stop doing all of this crap, then they will find love.
you have to be willing to give 2nd chances and communicate with each other. treat them like you want to be treated, and love like youve never ever loved....

It's possible, but I never would ever think that way, or else I would give up COMPLETELY! Never give up, Mac. Look at those curly locks - you'll pick em up like HOTCAKES. :)

It's true............that's why most people just "settle", and take what they can get. Sad, but true.
