The liberals are more socialist, they believe that the rich should support the poor because they have more to give...
But what they fail to realize is that in life their are consequences!
and more often than not the Rich EARN their riches...
they did not get rich by asking for the government to give them handouts!

the left believes that the poor are victims of society....
when in all reality most of them choose to be poor!
they do not want to look for a better job or even a job at all!!
its awful funny how you see the people in government housing crying they have no food! crying they have no money yet they are drunk and always find money for beer!

This is a CAPITALIST country!
the rich should NOT have to support the poor!
if the rich do give to charity! but it should not be forced out of our taxes!
Socialist programs should be *optional* a person should be able to opt out and sign a waver stating they do not want to pay into socialist programs and never be able to receive help from socialist programs if they ever were to fall short in life!

****** In the Latin Language******
Poly meaning many
and Tics meaning Blood sucking creatures......
Put the two together....
what do you have
MANY BLOOD SUCKING CREATURES....
shall we turn blood into money?

They're not evil if they're rich AND liberal, because only conservative money is the root of all evil. Liberals can't be evil because they want to save the earth. Even if they create more CO2 than a coal fire just to heat their homes, it's really the thought that counts.

You don't really know what the liberal view is.

The liberal view is that government policies which favor only the rich at the expense of the poor are evil.

Absolutely! All politicians are evil. I defy anyone to name a politician who isn't inherently evil, self-serving, selfish, greedy, slothful and arrogant.
Hubris sets in and politicians succumb.
It's not a "liberal" or "conservative" thing: it's a political thing. Power corrupts. -RKO- 08/30/07

A VERY wise man once told me that you will never make a poor man rich by making a rich man poor. But that's just what the liberals will do if they get their way.

Everyone I've ever met (I'm 46) has a slightly different take on the words you've chosen. So, please define your take on "the liberal view" and "evil"? Once we know more about what you mean by these words, we'll all be in a better position to answer your questions.

Where did you hear that? Libs don't believe that the rich are evil. It's the actions of some of the wealthy politicians in office that give that impression.

What makes you think rich is evil? What makes you believe liberals believe this? You are wrong twice.

Why are all politicians rich? Maybe that is what you need to answer first. Evil is as evil does...........

In the liberal view the rich

(a) are rich at the expense of everyone else (because they think it's a zero sum game and they can't grasp that the economy continues to produce more rich people - however you define rich, wherever you draw the line, more people continue to rise above it)

(b) are rich at the expense of the planet (because they can't understand how a free market rewards the ability to produce more wealth from fewer resources, by assigning costs to those resources)

(c) got their wealth through bad means - or inherited it (because they don't realize that wherever you draw the line to define rich, about 70% of those above it earned their wealth).

NEWSFLASH FOX: THAT "SAYING" WAS COINED BY VLADIMIR LENIN.

Bottom line, Libs refuse to accept, despite every historical example, that systems which assume a fixed pie and attempt to redistribute wealth from the "rich" to the "poor" end up making everyone poorer than they already are, while models that allow individuals to create wealth and keep most of it end up making everyone richer than they are.

That's why a 1/3 and growing share of our poverty, and all of our new poverty, is imported. Americans are not getting poorer. Americans are getting richer. And poor Mexicans are coming to America.

I'm not saying build a wall - I'm just saying that if we HAD built one about the same time that the other wall came down, the poverty rate would be about 1/3 less than it presently is.
