The people who live in your house must be related to the people who live in my house(they can't close cupboard doors either!) And it's really annoying when I want to munch some ice and there is none! And then I get blamed for eating all the ice when they leave the trays sitting out of throw them in the soapy water!

Because until it's empty, no one wants to do it.
And then, no one will ever admit they were the ones who took the last cubes.......You must have people in your house like the ones in mine. I started putting an ice tray where only I knew where it was, and then putting the extra cubes in a bag. he he
I'm never out of ice. And of course I don't fill the other trays either. Eventually they got the hint. It's been damn hot over this summer. LOL

It was damn near impossible for the members of my family to fill them...so here is what I did. I bought over a dozen trays. When one is emptied it goes with the dirty dishes. Every night as part of the doing dishes chore the trays are washed and filled. Now here is the beautiful part....the kids think washing out the trays is redundant...therefore they fill them the second they are empty just so they don't have to wash them!

It eludes men. If they want cold beer they just chuck it the freezer for a while.
You should have someone hook up the automatic ice cube maker thing on your fridge.

i use the bags, they are great, hold it under the tap, they have a funnel top, fill it with water, and tie it iff, fling it in the freezer and you have bags of cubes, just burst the bag and they fall out one at a time, i get them in the supermarket beside the sandwich bags and stuff, they are the best thing ever

I completely agree - ours is always empty and my husband blames me for it LOL
I am going to buy a new fridge with an automatic ice cube maker!

Don't you just love it when there is no ice, and you find EVERY damn tray is empty too... I'd like to kick my bf's butt when he does that... ;-)
