That’s real good advice from FLH_RYDER, I also own a 2000 Low Rider. I bought a LePera Bare Bones because I like sitting in the bike, its firm and in the lowest seat I can find for the bike. I did not get the gel cuz I did not prefer to spend the extra cash. LePera makes nice seats with favorable price compared to the other suggested brand. It was a bit over six years ago I bought that seat and it still looks great to this date. I used the seat to go to Sturgis back in 2002 from Yuma AZ ( all on the bike no trailer) my longest stint of the trip was when I was leaving Sturgis and I stoped in Denver for the night and headed to Vegas. I was on the seat for over 10 hours and I had no problems getting back on it the next day leaving Vegas. So, with that said; I give two thumbs up to the LePera brand.

Hard question to answer.....Only because everyone is so different...what I like, You might hate.....and what is comfortable for me might not be good for a passenger...only suggestions I can give you are....go to your local dealership (Harley or otherwise) and try out a few seats for comfort...or look around at the other bikes in your area and if you see one on a bike that looks good ask the owner how he likes it...I'm sure he'll let you sit on it and try it out...everyone has their own opinion on what the best seats are....and the most expensive seats are not always the best....it's all about you and what you feel is comfortable....good luck.

I have a corbin seat on my bike and it is just fine for me ,but my wife hates it so a gel seat pad goes on the back for her and helps out on longer rides ,

Corbin or Mustang seats. Both excellent products. I use Corbins personally cause they fit my butt better. Try both and get what fits ya'.
