That a guy named Jabba (Joba) is on the "evil empire". How "Star Wars" is that! The marketing guys have to love this.

LOL When I went to a Yankee - Tigers game a Tiger and a Yankee fan were going ''Joba like Jabba the hut?'' then they started laughing and made a Jabba the Hut impression.

Jabba the Hutt was not a member of the Empire in "Star Wars." Also, even if he were, there wouldn't be irony here, just coincidence.

"Irony" is one of the most mis-used words around. Irony occurs in which an intended meaning is the exact opposite of what is true.

For example, it is not irony if you were to crash your car into someone who shares the same name as you. That would be coincidence. It is irony if you are driving along and you tell your passenger that you're a safe driver and then you proceed to run a stop sign and plow into somebody.

Why are the yankees the evil empire, to me when I watch a movie the good guys win, and the bad guys occasionaly take one to keep you interested.

The yankees are the rebel forces.

The red sox are the bad guys, especialy this year being the frontrunner.

Lets go underdogs.

Actually it was his nickname throughout college. At least we know how to pronounce our pitcher's names and don't have to rely on a nickname (talking about Dice-K). And I was at the game on Tuesday.... he had nnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnooooo DICE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
