I think that that was a story- not fact. My front page news comes from Yahoo News- the stimulus package agreement. ooooo DISS!! Dale, not the fire story- the TEACHER story:( It was an advertisement for a show or a book or something. I am NOT 100% certain, that is why I said ~ "I think that that was a story- not fact"~ empasis on THINK:) I have purposely avoided reading about the fire in Australia- I can not handle that. Okay, I am confused. What does this mean? It is like the article that I saw yesterday-pertaining to a book. A SMALL boy catches sight of his teacher and races to hug her, shouting with delight, "You're here!". She hugs him bak fearcely. She looks into his eyes and says "You were really worried about me. I heard that you were all right and I cheered yes! yes!" Reassured, he returns to play. But when the teacher straightens her eyes go blank. She tells a second teacher she has lost three children from her class. Her friend gasps in disbelief; she didn't know about one of them. The first teacher says "the whole family is gone." Their brave front crumbles and they fall into each others arms, weeping. [Karen Kissane] Thanks- I have no idea where I read that same story or why I thought that it was a book advertisement.

Up here in Jersey (The Star-Ledger) the headlines are: 9 year old boy charged with manslaughter of an 11-month old child. The Hat Bandit took his plea of "guilty" away and pleaded "not guilty". (The Hat Bandit was a guy who wore different hats and robbed tons of banks until he got caught. He was let out of jail a year or so ago after doing 18 years or so for killing his then 26 year old girlfriend, putting her body in a suitcase, throwing it over in the water and then forging her signature to act like she was still alive.)
That is just a couple of headlines of the front page of my paper.
